Yoga for pregnant women is a gentle practice that is very important to pregnant women since it leads to healthy growth and development of the baby. Yoga during pregnancy is also a good exercise since it reduces pregnancy discomforts, encourages a comfortable position favorable for the growing baby.

Yoga for pregnant women helps to ease delivery since the pregnant mother is taught how to breathe and relax at childbirth. Yoga during pregnancy also helps reduce blood pressure, increases lymph flow and encourages good blood circulation.

Pregnancy Yoga improves mother’s sleep, decreases stress and reduces anxiety, reduces headaches and breath shortness.

Yoga for pregnant women is also helpful since it helps control and govern mood swings, this is vital since it helps so much to strengthen the bond between the mom and her child. Most women join yoga during pregnancy to control common problems such as insomnia, fatigue, digestive problems, back pain and many other problems.

1. Yoga for pregnant woman helps improve body circulation; this is mainly in terms of water retention in the body and blood circulation.
2. Yoga is an important exercise in pregnant women since it increases balance. Many women encounter a problem in balancing when pregnant thus when they practice yoga this problem is countered. It is important to note that pregnant women are advised to avoid hard balancing postures to avoid falling over.

3.    Yoga for pregnant women helps stretch the body in all the possible directions and areas thus helps pregnant women to work with the shift in body mass and weight which causes many women to suffer from back pain and sore hips. This also helps get the body back to shape after delivery.
4. Yoga during pregnancy helps pregnant women to learn how to breathe so as to calm the body. This helps them to deal with emotions around the changing body environment. Regulated breathing helps calm the mind thus bring a sense of peace. Breath work helps it easier during delivery since the breathing practice during difficult postures prepares them for breathing during labor and childbirth.
5. Yoga for pregnant women works on the hips, pelvic alignment and leg area thus making them more flexible, most women who have practiced yoga have found it easier during delivery.
6. Yoga strengthens the abdominal muscles thus helps re-tone stomach muscles after they have stretched thus helps carry the baby. This also makes it easier to push the baby through the birth canal during childbirth.
7.   Yoga for pregnant women helps strengthen the pelvic floor. Many mothers lack bladder control after delivery but after joining yoga practices they recover from this problem faster and easier.
In conclusion pregnancy yoga is vital both for the mother and child thus have proven to be a good and beneficial exercise during pregnancy. This is because it has proven to be essential for a positive pregnancy, in labor and in childbirth process. Yoga for pregnant women also prepares the expectant mother both physically and emotionally for the coming of the newly born.

However it is important to observe proper feeding habits, a healthy diet and ample rest along with yoga during pregnancy for good results. This helps the expectant mother sustain good levels of energy throughout the pregnancy and during childbirth.This makes yoga for pregnant woman important in all respects.
